This IFSR book consists of 9 chapters, each containing:

Chapter 1 – Introduction

This chapter outlines Indonesia's nutritional challenges and the rationale for implementing the MBG Program. It discusses the contrast between ideal and current conditions, the impacts of malnutrition on children, the connection with poverty cycles, and the national development context. Chapter 4 – Private Sector Collaboration in 12 Pilot Locations

Explores the involvement of private partners in pilot implementation across urban, rural, island, and remote regions. This includes funding schemes, CSR contributions, implementation strategies, success stories, and recommendations for nationwide expansion.

Chapter 5 – Training and Curriculum for Development Cadres

Describes the development of a training curriculum for Development Cadres (Sarjana Penggerak), the structure of training modules, implementation of training and mentorship, and the planned national scale-up. Evaluation indicators and impacts of this human resource investment are also discussed.

Chapter 6 – IFSR’s Role on the Global Stage

Documents IFSR’s international engagement in school meal discussions and knowledge exchanges in the US, Europe, China, Japan, and through the School Meals Coalition and collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP). This highlights IFSR’s contributions to global school meals discourse.
